I am interested in the etymology of any word. This helps one to understand it’s deeper meaning and embrace all it’s aspects. Purnaanna the word is not something that you find in English Dictionery. It is quintessential Indian word and so is the food supplement developed by Bhakti Karve. It is ragi based food supplement duly packed in the cubic bag, with full ingredients details thereof. Since it is FSSAI certified the consumer should not have any doubts in buying the product.
As I said earlier the name purnaanna is quintessential Indian and it reminds me of my mother who used to insist that I should have at least one glass of milk if not two. My mother was a daughter of gynecologist so she wanted to bring us up in same way she was bought up.
Her argument was, milk -“It is wholesome food” .She would thus silence us all.
I personally feel that Mrs. Bhakti Pushkar Karve’s product stands in the same footing. I have not suffered any adverse effects. On the other hand it has helped me a lot as a senior citizen.
I have, therefore no hesitation in recommending it to others. Albeit, after consulting their respective family doctors, because I do not belong to that profession.
What appeals to me is the name attributed to the product
It is original as I did not find it in any dictionaries in my stock.
“Purnaanna ” – complete wholesome food. An original Indian product nothing like the run of mills available in market.
